Bar Nouveau

At the end of the 19th century Art Nouveau posed a simple question; what if we could use the new industrial production techniques to reintroduce nature back into our cities? Guimard’s response – wrought iron contoured into natural forms. Not a rejection of modernity but rather a reappropriation.

On the ground floor of Bar Nouveau, the menu plays a leading role; cocktails made with the best of what contemporary producers have to offer. Presented without pretense.

Below, the same question is posed through a different perspective. A tasting menu of six cocktails echoing the aromas of the menu above, bringing them to life in a new way. Utilising techniques not imagined by Art Nouveau, but recognised. Nature rediscovered through technology, not in spite of it.
